Supermajority

I was just reading an article that was bemoaning the lack of progress in the Senate due to the loss of the supermajority. I'm not sure I agree that a lack of progress isn't desirable. Frankly, much of what is being put forth by both parties is at best distasteful, and at worst, reprehensible grabs for personal advantage and power. It's not that I don't think that new issues need to be discussed, debated, and policy set forth, but I'm not sure the group in DC right now is the group to do it. Frankly, the less they get 'done', the better off we are as Americans.
